Appearance: Rich cherry-red colour. Bright and clear, with long, slow legs in the glass.

Aromatic stage: Blackberry and ripe fruit interspersed with vanilla developing finally into a deeply aromatic roast aroma.

Tasting stage: On the palette, a full-bodied and elegant wine. Noted for its harmonious equilibrium as a result of its ageing in French and American oak. Fine, fresh tannins. Rounding off to a deep back-of-the-nose intensity and lasting aftertaste.

Recommendation: decant for 15-20 minutes before serving.
